Abstract

Nosocomial pneumonia (NN) constitutes a health problem with clinical and epidemiological significance, as it is the cause of acquired infection or nosocomial infection (IN) in hospitalized patients associated with high morbidity and mortality rates. evidenced by a new infiltrate in the chest radiograph, and that during admission was not present or during the incubation period. The review of the specialized literature of the country showed that there are no intellectual efforts or important research in the country to analyze this problem. The Minsa, in the official regulations, doesn’t propose specific processes to prevent nosocomial diseases.
