Abstract

In the search to improve the quality of education, the Regional Multidisciplinary School of Estelí has integrated the use of ICT in academic and administrative tasks as established by the educational model of the UNAN- Managua with the aim of improving the significant learning of the students. Therefore, this research was conducted in order to assess the use and application of ICT in the teaching-learning process of the FAREM- Estelí, academic year 2017. It is an applied research, of a descriptive nature and is methodologically framed in a mixed approach and of cross section. The sample consisted of directors of academic departments, teachers and students. The main results focus on the following steps have been taken for the integration of ICT in the teaching-learning process, as well as internal and external factors that intervene in it. However, it is necessary to improve the infrastructure, acquisition of hardware and software; as well as training on ICT for innovation through Information and Communication Technologies from the Web 3.0.
