The article aims to show the calculation of the gross national income in dollars using the World Bank Atlas method. It is a quantitative study, used a series of time from 2013 to 2017. Estimates show a growth of the GNP per capita of the 4.3% average annual. In this same period the per capita consumption of households grew 3.5% per year. The type of change estimated with the Atlas method has a more stable than the nominal exchange rate evolution. The technique estimates the last three average exchange rate periods adjusted by the difference between the rate of inflation in the country and the United States.
