The entrepreneurial role of the rural producer, a pending conceptualization

A brief conceptual discussion is presented and about the role that the use of these categories has had on the rural development process promoted at different times in the country. The article raises the different opinions and conceptions that exist in relation to the productive and business function developed by the rural producer. Raising the need to have a clear and precise conceptualization in relation to these two terms and their use for the targeting of territorial actors subject to influence on national policies. Thus, a brief immersion in the theme and the importance that it has to improve the relevance of the accompaniments developed in rural territories is considered. To do this, three levels of analysis are related, first the state level (with the respective definitions of rural stakeholders and policy advocacy, its normative aspects), second, the organizational level (such as private or public entities) conception producer rural and operate through different actions. Being the third the local level where it is intended identify possible links developed in the social fabric (relationships, support networks and others) that could explain the dynamics developed by these groups in relation to productive activity and analyzed the generation process learning.
