Abstract

The present essay is a reflection on the methodological experience in Applied Research and Graduation Seminar with students of V year of Business Administration in 2015. This essay specifies the main “bottlenecks” faced by students conducting research and how their teacher implemented these seven strategies: 1) the theory-practice relationship; 2) permanent analysis of the socio-economic context; 3) teachers committed to their students; 4) shared responsibility; 5) Permanent teacher-student communication; 6) Participation in the scientific symposium; and 7) dissemination of research results. The author concludes by explaining that the cross-cutting aspects for the success of the process are the interest, motivation and responsibility of the student, along with their decision to know how to face and overcome obstacles and keep going.
