ADMINISTRATIVE THEORIES: EVOLUTION OR COMPLEMENT?
Abstract
The theories of administration were created to explain the organization as an entity. Since it is constantly changing, some authors consider that organization has evolved while others have simply adapted it to the context in which the organization is found. We used Lakatos (2007) in order to understand if there is any evolution within the organization and it was possible to conclude that there was an adaptation to the current context of the organizations, but not an evolution since for this the paradigm must be broken, to happen the previous one would create a knowledge revolution.
