UNIVERSITY - SOCIETY BONDING AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF UNAN-MANAGUA/FAREM-ESTELI

Abstract

In an education context, college education plays a fundamental role in the formation of professionals, in relevant areas that contribute to the country’s social and economic requirements that are also prioritized by the National Plan of Human Development and National Autonomous University of Nicaragua. This essay aims to address the importance of Regional Multidisciplinary Regional Faculty of Esteli (FAREM) with the society in the field of public and private entities in the development of professional practices, projects and relations with other universities as facilitators of the ties between theory and social problems. This frame of relations has contributed to make FAREM-Estelí a local, national and international reference when it comes to alliances between university and society.
