NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING, REGIONAL HEADQUARTERS OF THE NORTH, PRIVATE ENTERPRISE, STATE AND SOCIETY BONDING

Abstract

The National University of Engineering (UNI), Headquarters Regional of the north since its creation in 2004, has been concerned with maintaining the alliance with the private enterprises, state and society. This essay shows some of the scientific and academic activities aimed tot strengthen this relation. It begins by presenting its general and particular structure of this Regional headquarters. Subsequently it describes the main research and extension activities carried out during the period 2005 to 2016. Finally, it present some final considerations that refer to the importance of the university-state - enterprise bonding that allows us to meet the demands of the new social and economic contexts of a globalized society.
