Abstract

This document studies the labor market situation of economists graduated from FAREM-Estelí in the period 2017-2019, where it establishes the actions that determine its behavior, as well as the relationship that exists between labor demand and supply of the economists, with which competences were proposed that improve the insertion in the labor market of economists, thus improving its relationship with companies. The main results show that the majority of graduates are active and working in various economic activities, in the same way it is reflected that employers have knowledge about the professional profile of an economist, also about the importance that economists develop personal and technological skills since it is a tool that makes work in companies more feasible.
