Abstract

This research has analyzed the concepts and theorems of integral and vector calculus in the demonstration of Pascal's Principle, having as purpose the elaboration of an experimental prototype to apply the calculation of fluid pressure with the definite integral and vectors, where this artifact will be useful for future researchers and university students who wish to demonstrate different physical principles through experimentation. Furthermore, the approach of this research is qualitative and descriptive, because it allows to interpret, collect and analyze concepts and theorems related to mathematical calculus where an evaluation rubric was provided to evaluate the work developed by the participants, which were 41 students, This study used the inductive method, which is useful in the scientific field, since it is flexible and allows the exploration of knowledge, taking into account the interpretative paradigm, since it lends itself to predictions, in this case experimentation. For the collection of information, a data recording form was used for documentary analysis. The results confirm that it is possible to give a practical demonstration of Pascal's principle from a theoretical foundation and construction of prototypes. It is concluded that this research process strengthens academic training, logical and critical thinking to relate theory with practice from the construction of devices referring to Pascal's principle.
