Abstract

This article aims to show statistical results found in the research based on the quality of academic performance and its relationship to emotional competencies in the students of FAREM-Estelí during the period 2013-2016, in relation to elements that affect the quality of academic performance and emotional competencies in students, with the aim of generating discussion and reflection that contributes to the development of a psycho-educational proposal that will guide the improvement of quality of academic performance and development of emotional skills in the students. The research is based on the framework of the critical socio paradigm of research, with the deductive hypothetical method, and by the relationship between variables of correlational type, from a mixed approach in which qualitative and quantitative methods are integrated, which is part of the results. The article presents: introduction, theoretical framework, material and method, analysis of results, conclusions, bibliography.
